Free Math Worksheets

I wanted to share the website with you.  It's called Math U See.  They have Free Math Worksheets and a Math Worksheet Generator.  In addition to this they have a free online drill practice.

To print the free resources.  You will have to select one of the highlighted titles on their website.  Upon clicking on one of the titles a PDF file will open and you will have access to a Math worksheets from 62-67 pages long.
This website has online drill practice.  You will have to click on the drill tab and then select what kind of drill practice you would like for your student or child to use.
Select Drills

Choose what kind of  drill and then click Start.

This is what the Online Drill practice looks like.
The blocks don't move but there is a "hide blocks" button.  I wish that it would allow students to grab the block and use it to help them figure out the problem if needed but for now it's like this.

Thank you for taking the time to read this.  Happy Math Planning!

Free ESL Lessons, Games & Assessments On BrainPop

Before I went off to winter break I was on the look out for an ESL program for my newcomers.  In the past month we have a had a slew of newcomers that know zero English.  With so many students at so many different levels I was looking for a program that they might be able to use during centers.  Mind you I did not purchase the program.  For the moment I am only using the free portions of this website.  I need to think about it before I buy into it because the cost to actually buy into the whole program is $150.  Either way, I would like to share with you the free parts.

The website is:  https://esl.brainpop.com/

You can choose to have your student take the placement test.
Or you can choose to just start with Lesson 1.  Your student can watch the videos, practice the flash cards, hear it say it, play it, practice, read it, write it, and quiz.
The only thing that I wish was different is the size of the screen.  I mainly use a PC at school with students and as you can see in the picture above, there is a lot of space on each side.  It would be nice if the pictures and videos were larger.  All in all it's a great free website to use with your English Language Learners.
